Overview

Order and Pay was a visual refresh of JDW’s existing ordering app.

The conversion journeys were already established and performing well. My role was to align the interface with updated brand guidelines while keeping the experience familiar and stable for customers.

This was about consistency and execution at scale, not reinventing the flow.

The brief

The brief was to create a like for like replacement of the existing Order and Pay app using the QR web app as the base.

The structure and conversion journeys were to remain unchanged.

The focus was aligning the interface with updated brand guidelines while maintaining familiarity for customers.

The work focused on:

  1. Applying updated JDW brand guidelines across the interface

  2. Maintaining existing conversion journeys

  3. Improving visual consistency and interaction states across the ordering flow

Design work

An existing structure and style were already in place.

I applied the updated brand guidelines to the product, keeping the existing journeys and behaviour unchanged.

The work focused on typography, spacing and layout, improving visual consistency and clarifying interaction states for selection and errors.

The flow remained the same.

The interface was brought in line with the current brand direction.
