Overview
Design work for House of Garrard, one of the world’s oldest jewellery houses, known for high-end craftsmanship and heritage.
The project focused on designing a premium e-commerce website that reflected the brand’s history and quality, while delivering a seamless and modern shopping experience.
The brief
Basic wireframes and a loose brand guide were provided by Filter.
While the core structure existed, the experience needed to feel confident, refined and understated, in line with the brand. The buying journey also had to remain clear and intuitive, ensuring users could browse and purchase without friction.
Design work
I was responsible for the UI and overall visual direction, translating the supplied wireframes into a cohesive, premium eCommerce experience.
Although structure was provided, layouts were refined to improve hierarchy, pacing and clarity across key buying steps. Product detail, pricing and call to action states were tightened to support confident purchasing without adding noise.
Typography, spacing and composition were used deliberately to reflect the brand’s positioning while keeping the journey simple and predictable.
